A mid-day breath stretch just for you! Feel free to use your office chair to help with balance, the wall or ground it down right where you are!
Breath in Natarajasana/Dancer Pose. This pose is excellent for lifting the spirits, chasing away a little mid-day fatigue, and a delicious open twist backbend to balance your posture. It is important that the hip be placed directly over the ankle to avoid over stretching at the hamstring attachment In the standing leg, where the back of the knee is lengthened but not locked. In the lifted leg, continue to draw the hip forward along with that same shoulder blade forward to create space for the backbend and most importantly the breath! Breathe. Movement in Stillness, Stillness in Movement.
